Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a rich mahogany core, emitting a warm, ruby-tinted glow.
Nose
Peat smoke rides a sea breeze, opening to sherry-soaked complexity. Dark fruit compote—figs and raisins—unfolds with cocoa, burnt sugar, and toasted nuts. Leather, tobacco and a whisper of iodine deepen the finish, with subtle spice.
Palate
Peat smoke and coastal brine envelop the palate, tempered by sherry-rich fruit. Dried fig and prune mingle with dark chocolate, orange zest and warm spice, while iodine and saline hints cling lightly. Full, velvety and bold, the ABV delivers a peppery lift that lingers into a long, smoky, resinous finish.
Finish
An enduring, warm finish where peat lingers beside rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig, dark chocolate and cocoa nibs unfold with orange zest and spice, leaving a smoky, elegant resonance that lingers long on the palate.
