Colour
Deep amber with coppery reflections.
Nose
Rousing maritime peat and sea spray mingle with iodine-rich smoke, wrapping the nose in coastal warmth. Beneath, sherry sweetness unfurls—dried fig and prune, dark cacao, and toasted almond—spun with vanilla and gentle spice, hinting at a full, velvety depth to come.
Palate
Richly peated and maritime, the palate opens with smoky peat, sea-salt brine, and dark fruit notes of fig and date. Sherried undertones add cocoa, raisin, and nutmeg, while espresso-like bitterness provides balance. The mouthfeel is velvety yet powerful, with creamy oak spice and a warming lift from the 54.1% ABV. A lingering, smoky finish carries hints of salted caramel and mineral slate.
Finish
Long, peaty finish with coastal smoke and sea-salt, unveiling rich sherry sweetness—figs and raisins—woven with cocoa, spice and toasted oak; a warm, lingering fade.
