Colour
Luminous amber-gold with copper highlights and a touch of mahogany, a warm, sunlit hue that hints at smoky, peated depth.
Nose
Maritime peat, iodine and sea-salt rise from the glass, carried on wisps of smoke and ash. Subtle sweetness threads through vanilla and oak, with hints of dried fruit from sherry and a coastal citrus lift. A vibrant, coastal aroma that embodies Laphroaig’s signature peat and sea.
Palate
A bold Islay chorus of peat smoke, iodine and sea salt opens the palate, tempered by Quarter Cask’s vanilla and toffee from oak. Lore adds dried fruit and spice from sherry and bourbon casks, while the 10 Year Old delivers a full-bodied, lingering finish of smoke and coastal tang. A layered, briny-sweet journey through oak, ash and sea.
Finish
Long maritime finish of peat smoke, iodine and sea salt, fading into vanilla warmth and charred oak. Subtle sherry sweetness from Lore lingers, while the 10 Year Old adds a final, smoky heartbeat—coastal, refined, and enduring.
