Laphroaig Select is the distillery’s most approachable whisky. A blend of single malts hand-selected from five different casks, it creates a mellow Scotch with balanced and complex flavour.

Maturation: a blend of whiskies aged in Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximénez hogsheads and ex-bourbon casks, finished in new American oak barrels.

Colour

Rich golden amber with warm copper highlights.

Nose

Forward peat smoke opens the nose, quickly followed by ripe red fruits, creating a bold, yet balanced aroma.

Palate

Sweet at first, then peat smoke swells with dashes of ash and seaweed, leaving a nuanced maritime glow.

Finish

Long, graceful finish with lingering floral notes, touched by marzipan sweetness and a hint of lime, slowly fading.
