Laphroaig Elements Of Islay LP10 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
Elements of Islay are iconic small-batch malts, celebrating the diversity of whisky that makes Islay special. To maintain personality, they are not chill-filtered and no colouring is added. Distilled at Laphroaig Distillery and bottled by Elixer Distillers, this is the `0th release from the famous South Islay powerhouse. This time it's a vatting of 2 Ex Bourbon Barrels, loaded with robust, medicinal peat (of course!) but also with notes of pineapple, banana, ginger and melon.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit golden amber with warm coppery highlights.
Nose
Bold peat and medicinal smoke rise from the glass, edged by sea-salt iodine. Beneath, tropical fruit notes unfold—pineapple and banana, with a suggestion of melon—complemented by a zing of ginger. Bourbon-derived vanilla lends creamy sweetness, while a mineral, coastal finish lingers.
Palate
Robust medicinal peat coats the palate, intertwined with bright tropical fruit—pineapple, banana and melon—spiked by ginger. The lively fruit and peat balance yields a clean, lingering finish with Islay smoke and coastal brightness.
Finish
Long, coastal finish; medicinal peat melds with sea-smoke as tropical fruit—pineapple, banana, melon—linger, kissed by ginger and vanilla-bourbon warmth. A subtle iodine echo and mineral grip fade slowly, leaving a fresh Islay-briny memory.
