The fifth release in the Kilkerran Heavily Peated Series.

The nose opens up to reveal citrus notes, vanilla cheesecake, rhubarb and custard sweets with delicate peat smoke. Flavours of freshly baked Bramley apple pie and sweet salted caramel. The peat is prolific yet well integrated. A fresh coastal influence evokes memories of a blustery, busy, sea sprayed harbour. a long and creamy finish - notes of toasted oak and pencil shavings give way to a lasting sweet, fruity peat smoke.

(kil-KERR-an) Kilkerran is produced at Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, a historic site founded by William Mitchell in 1872 after he left Springbank to establish his own distillery. Glengyle closed in 1925, remained silent for decades, and was bought by Mitchell’s Glengyle Ltd in 2000 before returning to production in 2004 after a four-year rebuild.
