From Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, the 16 Year Old 2025 Release is part of Kilkerran’s official core range of aged single malts, bottled at 46% ABV after 16 years of maturation.
For this edition the spirit was married from approximately 60% ex-bourbon and 40% ex-sherry casks, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, showcasing a balance of rich oak influence with Kilkerran’s signature coastal notes.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany, a warm, sun-kissed shade born from bourbon and sherry maturation.
Nose
A rich opening of prunes, marzipan, and orange-infused dark chocolate.
Palate
Lively and layered, the palate reveals maraschino cherry syrup, liquorice, and dates, complemented by a touch of star anise. Soft peat smoke unfolds gently, joined by a hint of sweet cinnamon toast.
Finish
Subtly maritime, with sea-salt nuance melding into hazelnuts and a whisper of fresh mint, finished by a gentle flourish of morello cherries.
