Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery edges and a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent and poised, the aroma greets with dark honeyed peat, dried fig and orange zest, lifted by sherry notes. Raisined fruit, cocoa, and toasted almond mingle with a briny sea-air freshness. Underneath, vanilla, cinnamon and a whisper of incense drift over a rich malt backbone, while a faint, mineral smokiness lingers.
Palate
Powerful and lush on the palate, this cask-strength Highland Park delivers assertive peat smoke with a maritime edge and honeyed sweetness. Rich fig and orange zest mingle with toffee, vanilla, and dried fruit, all wrapped in oak-spice. The finish is long and warming, with clove and cracked pepper lingering.
Finish
Long, warm finish where honeyed vanilla and dark fruit entwine with coastal peat and oak spice. Dried fig and chocolate surface as the heat eases, leaving a resinous, maritime glow that lingers with elegant, sherried depth.
