A cracking little find this. An independant bottling of Hazelburn (Springbank distillery) from Cadenheads. Matured in a Barbadian rum cask for 10 years before being bottled at cask strength. Only 240 bottles were produced from this cask.

Colour
Rich golden amber with coppery highlights and a warm, honeyed depth, glinting with sunset-bronze at the rim.
Nose
Opulent tropical fruit and honeyed sweetness rise from the glass, with pineapple, banana, and coconut weaving through vanilla-laden notes. Spices—cinnamon, clove, ginger—unfold with brown sugar and toasted oak, whispering a rum-kissed warmth that hints at a long, dry finish to come.
Palate
Spicy, rum-kissed and sweet on the tongue, with peppery clove and cinnamon notes unfolding over caramel, vanilla and brown sugar. Hints of tropical fruit mingle with oak, delivering a rich, full-bodied profile. The cask-strength warmth lingers as a very long, dry finish.
Finish
A long, dry finish that lingers with spicy warmth and subtle sweetness, slowly fading to crisp oak and a touch of rum-cask richness.
