Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a luminous sun-gilded core—a warm, sherry-kissed hue.
Nose
Juicy red grapes, raspberries and redcurrants rise from the glass, followed by stewed strawberries and a lift of mint humbugs.
Palate
Initially rich with marzipan, prunes and raisins, it develops into orange rind, dark chocolate and vanilla cheesecake.
Finish
Red apple leads the long finish, mingling with digestive biscuits and wholemeal toast, while black cherries and almonds echo softly, leaving a warm, nutty sweetness.
