Colour

Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany depth, a warm, sherry-toned glow.

Nose

Sherry-drenched dried fruits, fig jam and sticky toffee pudding mingle with caramelised nuts, ginger cake and baked bananas; amaretti biscuits dipped in mocha, clove-studded orange, chocolate-covered raisins, finished with a subtle coastal lift.

Palate

Bold, dense Sherry wood coats the palate with Oloroso-soaked fruitcake. Chocolate-covered raisins, sticky dates and dried banana chips mingle with macchiato coffee and Demerara sugar, while autumnal leaves and winter spice lend a chewy, full-bodied finish to this malt.

Finish

Fig rolls, sticky ginger cake, nut brittle, malt loaf, burnt butter, dark honeycomb, salted butterscotch, more sweet and sticky sherry wood and dense fruitcake notes on a long and moreish finish.
