This expression was distilled in 2007 and left to mature in a recharred bourbon hogshead for a decade, until it was bottled at cask strength in 2018.

Nose
Bright, honeyed nose with creamy vanilla and toffee underpinning juicy orchard fruit—pear and apple—kissed by citrus zest. Subtle oak spice and a waxy malt keep company with almond and coconut notes, hinting at cask-strength depth. Unpeated elegance that invites lingering exploration.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this un-peated Hazelburn coats the palate with honeyed vanilla and creamy toffee, then reveals orchard fruit—pear and green apple—lifted by recharred bourbon oak. Nutmeg and clove spice mingle with caramel and almond, all carried by a bold cask-strength warmth and a long, velvety finish.
Finish
Silky, long finish of vanilla and caramel, with subtle spice and creamy oak. Dried fruit notes emerge, delicate almonds, and a gentle nuttiness that lingers; the recharred bourbon cask leaves a warm, polished sweetness that gradually fades to refined oak.
