Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose with dark plum and raisin, dried fig and cherry, wreathed in roasted almond and cocoa. Rich oak, polished leather, and wisps of spice—cinnamon and clove—lend warmth and a lacquered sweetness that hints at a grand, cask-strength embrace.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied with rich sherry influence: dark fig, prune and raisin dominate, brightened by orange zest and cocoa. Espresso and toffee mingle with vanilla and cinnamon, while firm oak provides structure. The finish is long and warming, echoing dried fruit, spice and subtle nutty notes.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of dried fruit, fig and raisin, with dark chocolate and espresso notes, a kiss of toasted oak, and a lingering sherried sweetness that widens into a refined, warming echo.
