Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-gold sheen and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent dark fruit on the nose—prune, fig and raisin—woven with rich sherry, orange zest and soft toffee. Underneath, polished oak, leather and spice emerge, with cinnamon and clove mingling with cacao nibs and a whisper of tobacco.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, it coats the palate with dark dried fruits—prune, fig—and a sherry-wrapped warmth with cocoa notes. Toasted almond and subtle spice drift through rich oak, delivering a refined, velvety mouthfeel. The finish is long and elegant, with warm sweetness and quiet, resinous oak.
Finish
An expansive, elegant finish that lingers with dark fruit, prune and cocoa, the sherry influence woven into toasted oak. A gentle spice and leather nuance unfolds into a long, velvety warmth, slowly fading to malt and refined oak.
