Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky - The Original, is a fresh and fruity Single Malt which has successfully ignited the rise of a new Whisky era in Glasgow. Handcrafted in copper pot stills, the finest malted barley and the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine combine to create the finest spirit. Matured in first fill Ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Virgin Oak, always non-chill filtered and natural in colour. Glasgow 1770 - The Original is a wonderfully smooth, fruity and complex Single Malt Whisky.

Colour
Natural in colour, a glistening golden amber with warm honey hues.
Nose
A bright, fruity nose of pear and pineapple opens with warm toffee, vanilla and marzipan, while biscuit and honey add sweetness. Subtle red pepper and liquorice drift through the aroma, with whispers of virgin oak and first-fill ex-bourbon maturation lending delicate spice and depth.
Palate
Silky on the palate, with a bright fruit-forward core of pear and pineapple, complemented by red pepper heat. Toffee and vanilla wrap the sweetness in creamy texture, while marzipan and biscuit add delicate confection. Honeyed notes drift in with a whisper of liquorice, finishing with a gentle peppery spice that lingers.
Finish
Long, elegant finish blending vanilla and honey with toffee and pear, while pineapple lingers in the sweetness. A peppery warmth and a subtle kiss of liquorice drift through the Virgin Oak finish, leaving a creamy, refined afterglow that slowly fades.
