Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky - The Original, is a fresh and fruity Single Malt which has successfully ignited the rise of a new Whisky era in Glasgow. Handcrafted in copper pot stills, the finest malted barley and the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine combine to create the finest spirit. Matured in first fill Ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Virgin Oak, always non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
Tasting Notes: Red peppers, pear, toffee, vanilla, marzipan, biscuit, honey, pineapple with hints of pepper and liquorice.

Colour
Golden amber with warm honey-gold tones and a natural, sunlit glow.
Nose
Bright and fruity on the nose, with red peppers and pear upfront, mingling into toffee, vanilla and marzipan. Light biscuit and honey give a creamy sweetness, while pineapple adds a tropical lift; a whisper of pepper and liquorice eventually lingers, inviting further exploration.
Palate
Bright, fruity palate with an initial peppery bite giving way to pear and pineapple sweetness. Vanilla and toffee mingle with marzipan and biscuit notes, while honey adds warmth. A subtle kick of spice and liquorice lingers, carried by creamy vanilla oak and a clean, animated finish.
Finish
Warm, honeyed sweetness lingers, vanilla and toffee softening into biscuit and marzipan, with pear and pineapple lingering on the palate. A gentle peppery bite refreshes the finish, fading to liquorice and a whisper of oak.
