The second release of Glasgow 1770 Ruby Port Cask Finish increases the age statement to seven years and showcases the distillery’s unpeated single malt style. Created from a marriage of four hogsheads, the whisky was initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks for three years and ten months before spending a further three years and eleven months in Ruby Port casks.
This unusually lengthy Port maturation brings a generous concentration of summer berries, dark cherries and creamy vanilla, complemented by marzipan and sweet almond. Bottled at 54% ABV and limited to 1,200 bottles, Batch 2 is presented at natural colour, without chill filtration and in a gift carton.

Nose
Ripe summer berries and dark cherries combine with rich vanilla, marzipan and sweet almond.
Palate
Full and fruit-led, delivering layers of berry compote, juicy cherry and creamy vanilla, followed by soft marzipan and almond sweetness.
Finish
Lingering dark fruit and vanilla gradually give way to marzipan and a lasting sweet almond character.
