Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, finished in virgin white oak and non-chill filtered; 1770 is incredibly smooth, exceptionally fruity and complex; a single malt of sublime quality that continues the rise of a new whisky era in Glasgow.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with honeyed warmth and coppery glints.
Nose
Dried dark fruits with tropical undertones, followed by hints of biscuit, oak and freshly cut grass.
Palate
Sweet butterscotch coats the palate, with creme brulee char lending a roasted creaminess. Fresh pear slices mingle with dried figs, dates and raisins, while almond, honey and creamy shortbread weave a comforting, dessert-like harmony.
Finish
A long finish of thickly spread orange marmalade, nutmeg notes underpinned by complex woodiness and a slight spice.
