Glasgow 1770 Original Cask Strength Batch #3 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
This cask strength release from Glasgow 1770 was matured in first fill bourbon barrels before a finishing period in heavily charred virgin oak. Bottled at 60% ABV, with an outturn of 750 bottles, it takes the distillery’s original unpeated style in a richer, more oak-led direction while still keeping its bright fruit character intact.
The bourbon barrels lay the foundation with sweetness and structure, while the virgin oak adds extra depth, spice and texture. That combination gives the whisky a full, confident profile, where citrus, orchard fruit and malt richness sit alongside toasted wood and a warming, slightly more robust oak influence.
