Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural amber with sunlit copper highlights, a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Peat smoke blooms over vanilla and toffee, with dried tobacco and salted caramel weaving through the aroma. A kiss of oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry adds glossy sweetness and a poised spice that lingers, giving the smoke a refined, velvety edge.
Palate
Peat-smoked richness coats the palate with vibrant vanilla, toffee and salted caramel, entwined with dried tobacco and a velvet PX-finish sweetness. Virgin oak lends a creamy backbone, while a warming spice lingers into a long, smoky finish.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with peat and Pedro Ximénez sweetness lingering, vanilla and toffee mingling with salted caramel. Dried tobacco and spice persist, warming gently as the smoke slowly eases.
