Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky - The Original, is a fresh and fruity Single Malt which has successfully ignited the rise of a new Whisky era in Glasgow. Handcrafted in copper pot stills, the finest malted barley and the exceptionally pure water of Loch Katrine combine to create the finest spirit. Matured in first fill Ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Virgin Oak, always non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
Tasting Notes: Red peppers, pear, toffee, vanilla, marzipan, biscuit, honey, pineapple with hints of pepper and liquorice.

Colour
Natural golden-honey with a pale amber glow
Nose
A fresh, fruity bouquet greets the nose: pear and pineapple mingle with vanilla, toffee and biscuit, lifted by marzipan and honey. Delicate red pepper spice and a hint of liquorice add subtle intrigue.
Palate
Bright and silky on the palate, it opens with pear and red pepper, unfolding into toffee, vanilla and marzipan. Biscuit notes cradle a gentle honeyed sweetness, while pineapple shines through with a subtle pepper and a trace of liquorice. The finish is smooth and balanced, with lingering fruit, a touch of spice, and soft oak that lingers warmly.
Finish
Long, spice-kissed finish with peppery warmth that lingers into vanilla, honey and pineapple. Subtle liquorice and biscuit notes persist alongside marzipan as the Virgin Oak and first-fill bourbon casks leave a drying, oak-driven finale.
