The anticipated seventh edition in the Creations series combines Pineau des Charentes Rouge casks and Virgin Oak casks with a lightly peated spirit, resulting in flavours of rhubarb and custard, heather smoke, and sweet oak spice.
(koo BOH-kan) Cù Bòcan is Tomatin’s lightly peated Highland single malt, launched in 2013 after the distillery recognised the quality of the peated spirit it had been producing for one week each year since 2005. Named after a ghost dog said to haunt the village of Tomatin, it is made with lightly peated Scottish barley and distilled every winter in limited batches, creating a style built around subtle smoke and balanced sweetness rather than heavy peat.
