(koo BOH-kan) Cù Bòcan is Tomatin’s lightly peated Highland single malt, launched in 2013 after the distillery recognised the quality of the peated spirit it had been producing for one week each year since 2005. Named after a ghost dog said to haunt the village of Tomatin, it is made with lightly peated Scottish barley and distilled every winter in limited batches, creating a style built around subtle smoke and balanced sweetness rather than heavy peat.
