Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with honeyed warmth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Delicate peat smoke waltzes with vanilla and honeyed oak. Toffee, almond and orange zest from first-fill bourbon and virgin cask mingle with dried fruit hints from sherry. A whisper of coastal salt and creamy malt, finished by a waxy, non-chill filtered aroma that promises depth and refinement.
Palate
Delicate peat smoke wraps a creamy honey-vanilla core, lifted by sherried dark fruit and toasted almond. Virgin oak contributes vanilla-coconut richness, while orange zest and ginger spice brighten the mid-palate. Smooth, medium-bodied and non-chill filtered, it finishes with a gentle sweetness, subtle oak, and a soft, lingering smoke.
Finish
An elegant, lasting finish unfolds with warm peat smoke dissolving into creamy vanilla and toasted oak. Sherry sweetness leaves dried fruit and a touch of cocoa, while bourbon sweetness adds a gentle caramel lift. The finish lingers gracefully, soothed by mineral notes, subtle spice, and a final whisper of smoke.
