Only a small percentage of the 2.5 million litres of whisky produced at Aberfeldy distillery every year is released as a single malt under the Aberfeldy name. The majority goes into the blending of Dewar's White Label, one of the world's best selling blended whiskies.

A mellow and easy drinking Highland single malt and one for fans of The Singleton or Cardhu malts.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Toffee, honeycomb and gingernuts unfold with buttery oak and waxy orange, a ribbon of runny honey on toast.

Palate

Apricot jam on buttery brown toast, all spice, honey baked apple, orange, ginger and subtle peppery oak.

Finish

Bread pudding, dried fruit, dates and toffee, dark honey and mellow oak.

Aberfeldy
(aber-FELL-dee) Aberfeldy was built by John Dewar & Sons in 1896 and remains the only distillery constructed by the Dewar family. Set just outside the town of Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire, it was positioned beside the Pitilie Burn, whose water still feeds the distillery today. Its history also includes a two-year closure from 1917 during the First World War, and a major expansion in 1973 when two new stills were added to double capacity. Aberfeldy later passed into Bacardi’s ownership in 1998 as part of John Dewar & Sons.
