Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper glow and subtle burnished-gold highlights.
Nose
Aromas of grape, honey and ripe melon unfold with fresh barley and grassy notes; Viognier-like brightness, orange curd, heather and a hint of new leather.
Palate
Juicy grape and fresh barley with sweet toffee and honeydew melon, lifted by ginger spice. Toasted cereal and peppery oak add subtle bite, while malty heather honey lingers on the palate.
Finish
Dried apricot and melon linger into a long, warm finish, coaxed by ginger spice and fresh malty barley. Honeyed grape coats the mouth as a soft, peppery smoke—hinting at heather sweetness—drifts away with a bright whisper of lemon thyme.
