Colour

Deep amber with copper-bronze reflections and a warm, honey-gold glow, edged by a subtle mahogany tint.

Nose

Wax, citrus zest and a sea-salt breeze lead the aroma, quintessential Clynelish. Sherry cask darkens the heart with raisins, fig, cocoa and a whisper of leather. Toasted almond, vanilla and polished oak add elegance, while an undercurrent of brine and waxy sheen lingers, recalling an old Brora-era beauty.

Palate

Silky, waxy and full-bodied, it coats the palate with orange zest, honey and dried fig from the sherry cask. Briny depth and a whisper of coastal smoke mingle with toffee, almond and spice, while a sturdy oak backbone lends structure. A long, warming finish lingers with a nutmeg kiss.

Finish

Opulent, long finish of rich sherry fruits and dark chocolate, woven with a waxy, coastal glow. Dried orange and fig linger with toffee, toasted oak and a faint brine, mineral backbone. The high ABV releases a warm, velvety fade, spilling spice and a subtle whisper of leather.
