Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with honeyed highlights and a waxy, bronze-tinged sheen.
Nose
Aromas of honeyed sweetness and waxy richness rise from the glass, edged by coastal brine and salted citrus. Spices bloom: white pepper and clove, beneath a veil of gentle smoke, while oak from the diverse casks lends vanilla, beeswax and a polished mineral lift. A maritime Highland perfume, bold yet refined.
Palate
Waxily textured and full-bodied, it coats the palate with honeyed warmth and coastal salt. Spices bloom—pepper, clove, cinnamon—driven by a sturdy oak backbone from first-fill bourbon and European oak butts. Bright citrus zest and a gentle smoke weave through briny maritime notes, finishing long, balanced, with subtle sweetness and a mineral, sea-kissed afterglow.
Finish
Long and waxy, with coastal salt and citrus lingering on the palate. Spiced oak threads weave through the finish, while a faint smoke and honeyed sweetness melt into a mineral, briny prolongation that fades to a refined, warm glow.
