A single malt from New Zealand’s Cardrona Distillery, this 4 year old was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022 after finishing in Otago Pinot Noir casks. Bottled at 52% ABV, the release was limited to 1,217 bottles.
The Pinot Noir cask finish adds vibrant red fruit character and gentle wine-driven spice to Cardrona’s naturally light, creamy and fruit-forward spirit, layering depth and sweetness over the distillery’s refined and elegant house style in a distinctive limited release.

Colour
Golden amber with a warm coppery glow.
Nose
Vibrant red fruit on the nose—ripe cherry, raspberry and cranberry with a kiss of strawberry. A creamy, light spirit carries Pinot Noir-cask influence, delivering wine-spice notes of gentle clove and vanilla, with a whisper of cinnamon. Hints of delicate oak and floral lift round out a glossy, fruit-forward aroma.
Palate
Silky, creamy on the palate with light-to-medium body. Red fruit leads—strawberry, raspberry and cherry—with a touch of plum from the Pinot cask. Gentle wine-spice—clove and cinnamon—alongside vanilla and soft oak adds depth. The sweetness remains poised, finishing fruit-forward with refined warmth and balanced acidity.
