A limited release New Zealand single malt from Scapegrace, Release VII: Dimension was matured in virgin French oak and bottled at 46% ABV, with an outturn of around 12,885 bottles. The whisky was produced using Manuka-smoked malted barley, giving it a distinctive regional character.
Virgin French oak maturation adds pronounced spice, vanilla and structured oak, while the Manuka-smoked malt contributes a gentle, herbal smoke that complements the distillery’s naturally clean, fruit-forward spirit. The result is a bold, modern expression that highlights Scapegrace’s experimental approach to cask and flavour development.
