Growing Wings Solera is a natural, cask strength celebration of five years in oak. Matured in a marriage of select ex-Oloroso Sherry butts and ex-bourbon barrels; this creates flavours of pecan pie, loaded with treacle and vanilla bean clotted cream.

Nose

Lush sherried nose with treacle and pecan pie at the core, lifting vanilla bean and clotted cream. Ex-Oloroso butts release dried fruit and toasted oak, while bourbon casks weave caramel and warm spice into a decadent, creamy aroma.

Cardrona
Cardrona was founded by Desiree Reid, who began studying distillation in 2011 before selling her farming business and moving to Wānaka in 2013. The distillery was built in the Cardrona Valley, in New Zealand’s Crown Range, with the first spirit running on 23 October 2015 and the first cask laid on 5 November that year.
