Colour
Deep amber with coppery glints and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Cardhu’s full-strength nose unfolds with honeyed orchard fruit—ripe pear and golden apple—kissed by vanilla, almond and toasted oak. Sherry-cask influence reveals dried fig and raisin with a whisper of orange zest, wrapping the aroma in warm, nutty sweetness and a hint of spice.
Palate
Powerful yet refined on the palate, this cask-strength Cardhu delivers a creamy, sherried richness. Dried fig and orange zest fuse with toasted oak, toffee and vanilla; spices blossom into a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with rich sherry notes wrapping dried fruit, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Prune and raisin drift alongside vanilla and spice, then linger as a silky, resinous warmth that slowly fades to a refined, enduring glow.
