Cambus (silent) Cooper's Choice - Single Bourbon Cask #79877 Whisky 24 Year Old · 1991 Vintage
Out of stock
A 24 year old single cask single grain whisky from a distillery that was located in the Lowlands near Alloa and closed in 1993.
Aged in Ex-Bourbon Casks and bottled at 51.5%ABV.
Single grain whisky is a much underated style that should appeal to the drinker who wants something a bit sweeter like Bourbon or smooth and fruity. This is a pastry chefs idea of a whisky, rich and juicy, sweet and aromatic that will have you coming back for a second slice.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with warm honey tones and a sunlit bronze glow.
Nose
Rich biscuity aroma with baked goods—danish pastries and apple pie—from the oven, bananas baked with brown sugar, old-fashioned toffee, vanilla custard, caramelised peaches, and a whisper of musty spice.
Palate
Fat and juicy on the palate, it marries grape and grain with rich toffee, butterscotch and milk chocolate, weaving in cinnamon, vanilla and ginger with peaches in syrup, mocha and banana toffee.
Finish
Milk chocolate truffles and peach flan unfold into a warm finish of aromatic spices, cinnamon toast and rich vanillin oak. Toffee apple and nutmeg linger on creamy custard tarts, leaving a silky, lasting sweetness.
