Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany red around the edge, a glow born of sherry-cask maturity.
Nose
Coastal malt meets sherry-matured sweetness. Dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—are threaded with cinnamon and nutmeg. A whisper of orange zest and vanilla adds lift, while almond and oak provide structure, finishing in a soft, briny warmth.
Palate
Silky and fresh on the palate, the coastal malt backbone leads to sherry-cask sweetness with dried fig, raisin and apricot. Subtle spice—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—accompanies almond and cocoa notes. A whisper of salt threads through the oak, delivering a warm, refined, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, elegant finish. Sherry-imparted warmth lingers, with dark dried fruits: figs, raisins, dates, layered with soft spice and cocoa. Coastal salinity threads through, leaving a delicate, slightly briny echo as sweetness fades into a refined, oak-kissed resolve.
