Bruichladdich Organic 2011 -
The 2011 Organic is a stunning example of the wonderful clarity of flavour we see from organically grown barley, especially when distilled slowly in the tall narrow necked stills of Bruichladdich. The delicate floral spirit is matured in classic American oak; a perfect match bringing a wonderful combination of creamy and citrus notes.
Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 -
This unpeated whisky from Bruichladdich is made from barley grown on the island of Islay, harvested in 2012, and distilled in 2013. The whisky is matured in 75% first fill ex-Bourbon casks, and 25% in French wine casks that previously contained wines from Ribera Del Duero, Syrah, and Pauillac.
Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2012 -
The 2012 Vintage is another stunning example of the viscous texture and wonderful depth experienced from Bere Barley. Showing the classic Bruichladdich style with its depth and complexity - but as ever, a vintage specific style sets this release apart from those that have come before.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden honey with warm amber undertones, a luminous, sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Delicate floral perfume with bright citrus and creamy vanilla leads the bouquet, framed by gentle barley sweetness and light coastal brine. Subtle oak adds a creamy backbone, while whispering wine-cask spice from the Islay Barley and Bere releases lends depth. A refined, buoyant aroma that feels pristine, with maritime lift and quiet, layered complexity.
Palate
Silky, velvety on the palate with creamy vanilla and citrus zest from the Organic 2011. Islay Barley 2013 adds light, unpeated sweetness and wine-cask spice from Bourbon and French casks, with subtle red-fruit notes. Bere Barley 2012 lends viscous depth, mouth-coating malt and coastal nuance, finishing long, elegant and subtly saline.
Finish
A long, multi-layered finish that lingers with creamy citrus from the Organic 2011, hints of wine-dark fruit and spice from Islay Barley 2013, and a final velvety coastal depth with oaky warmth from Bere Barley 2012. Silky yet substantial, it leaves a refined barley finish with a resinous, maritime echo.
