Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with sunlit golden accents and a burnished bronze glow.
Nose
Peat smoke and sea spray mingle with iodine and maritime brine, carried on a sherried warmth. Dried fig and raisin sweetness fold into cocoa, leather, and waxy oak, all wrapped in a coastal mineral spine that speaks of Brora’s silent, time-worn charm.
Palate
Oil-slick and full-bodied, the palate unfurls with a velvety grip. Smoky peat and sea-salt mingle with brine and iodine, softened by waxy citrus. Dark fruit—fig and prune—rises with cacao and leather, balanced by a gentle sherry sweetness. Spiced, ashy smoke carries into a long, refined finish of coastal oak and lingering warmth.
Finish
Long, coastal peat and smoke cling to the palate, slowly giving way to sweet sherry fruit, citrus zest and toasted almond, with a refined mineral undertone that lingers in a smoky, cocoa-kissed finish.
