In stock
With a deep colour fitting for its age, this sweet and nutty Bowmore is matured for more than two decades in ex-Château Lagrange Barriques.
Notes of red fruit, dark chocolate and treacle hint at the Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux wines that were once aged inside. This Single Malt is sweet and nutty with undertones of spice, Manuka honey and a hint of peat smoke. A real treat.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep mahogany-amber colour, with warm coppery edges and a wine-dark glow.
Nose
Dark, inviting nose: red fruit, treacle and dark chocolate mingle with a nutty sweetness. Ex-Château Lagrange barriques infuse Bordeaux-tinged richness from French oak, with spice, Manuka honey and a delicate hint of peat smoke.
Palate
A velvety palate of sweet, nutty richness with red berries, dark chocolate and treacle, subtly weighted by French oak. Spices and Manuka honey unfold beside a gentle peat smoke, culminating in a long, refined finish that hints at Bordeaux elegance and sophistication.
Finish
An exceptionally long, refined finish that lingers with red-fruit sweetness, treacle and dark chocolate, guided by a soft spice. Subtle Manuka honey folds into a whisper of peat smoke, with oak and Bordeaux-barrel depth fading into a warm, nutty echo.
