Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold hues and a warm, honeyed glow.

Nose

A mellow, inviting nose of gentle herbal smoke, like scorched rosemary. Sweet notes of saffron custard and freshly baked shortcake, with a subtle shellfish-like savoury undertone.

Palate

The rosemary returns on the palate, with white pepper and pink peppercorn spice, velvety vanilla, and a touch of sweetened steak sauce. The sweetness swells into Edinburgh Rock and raspberry fondant, finishing with a gentle, lingering glow of character and light smoke.

Finish

A gentle, smoky finish, like a beach bonfire just doused, lingers for several minutes, leaving a warm, delicious afterglow.
