Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with a warm copper glow and mahogany edges, hinting at its sherry-kissed maturity.

Nose

Aromas of bonfire embers, barbecued meats, and stewed prunes combine with fruitiness from the wood – notes of cherries, dried apricots, butterscotch, and vanilla fudge.

Palate

Coal smoke and aged oak frame the palate, with lime marmalade and dark fruits weaving through. An oily, coating mouthfeel lingers, delivering depth and a poised, generous richness that invites another sip.

Finish

The sherry influence fades to reveal dark chocolate and aniseed, carried by subtle wood spice, unfolding into a long, refined finish that lingers softly.
