The third and final release in thie vintner's trilogy of single malts finished in Port casks.

Matured in ex-bourbon barrels for the first 12 years of its life, before spending the next 14 years in port pipes, imparting rich fruits and spice to the classic smoky Bowmore character.

Bottled at a cask strength of 48.3% abv free from chill-filtration.

Tasting Notes

Colour

A deep, burnished amber with coppery-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.

Nose

Peat smoke and medicinal notes rise alongside toffee, warm spice and heather, with red berries weaving through the aroma.

Palate

Smoky and sweet on the palate, with a salty tang that lingers, revealing notes of sultanas, salted caramel and leather.

Finish

Earthy and carbolic, the finish lingers with dates and herbs, finally brightened by a hint of white pepper.
