Blair Athol Signatory Vintage 35th Anniversary Single Cask #6790 Whisky 35 Year Old · 1988 Vintage
Out of stock
This single cask Scotch whisky was distilled at Blair Athol Distillery, Highlands, on the 28th of September 1988. The new spirit was filled into an Oloroso Sherry Butt, cask number 6790, where it remained until bottling in 2023.
A lovely burnt umber in colour, the 35 years in cask have created a beautifully rich liquid with lots of dark sherry fruits, sweet peanut brittle and old wood spices. The mouthfeel is luscious and expansive with a long, satisfying finish. The colour of the whisky reflects only the natural impact from the cask during maturation.
This whisky was disgorged and bottled under the supervision of Andrew Symington the distillery manager on the 4th of October 2023.
