Tasting Notes
Colour
Coppery amber with warm mahogany undertones.
Nose
Brown soda bread, crust darkened, spreads with tart rhubarb jam. Musky notes of thyme and saffron rise, entwined with milk-chocolate-covered digestive biscuits. A gentle whisper of soft pear drifts beneath, bringing a dusky fruitiness to the core of the aroma.
Palate
Fizzy jellies and under-ripe strawberries lead the palate, carried by a tart brightness from the nose. Pineapple-and-lemon ice lollies mingle with chewy fruit-salad sweets, while a final nutty echo appears as an apple-and-cinnamon oat bar.
Finish
Tangy pomelos and pine nuts linger, followed by a hint of sweet red pepper and vegetal green tea leaves.
