Bivrost Vanaheim Single Malt Whisky is handcrafted at the worlds northernmost distillery in Arctic Norway, at 69 °N. The malt is made from Nordic barley, distilled in their hi-tech still and diluted with glacial meltwater. This is a fusion of modern distilling technology and tradition.
The Whisky has been matured in carefully selected ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in Teak casks. It was allowed to mature in an old, underground NATO storage, as well as a modern viking longhouse. The temperature variations are vast, with an average, yearly temperature of only 0,6 °C.

Colour
Golden amber with copper-bronze highlights, a warm, luminous hue suggestive of sunset over Arctic ice.
Nose
A warm, inviting nose of cinnamon and vanilla, intertwined with tropical fruit notes and a honeyed sweetness.
Palate
Silky vanilla frames bright tropical fruits, with a clear cinnamon-spice core. It unfolds into warm hints of ginger and other spices, yielding a lush, inviting sweetness that lingers with a softly spiced finish.
Finish
Warm, lingering spice trails the palate—cinnamon and vanilla mingle with tropical fruit notes, fading into a honeyed, refined finish.
