The Myken Distillery is one of the furthest north distilleries in the world - this however does not stop them from producing this fine, lightly peated Single Malt. It has been suggested this is perhaps a Nordic cousin of T@lisker in terms of flavour style.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden straw with sunlit honey and a soft amber edge.
Nose
Fresh coastal air and brine mingle with light peat smoke. Mineral salt and seaweed notes drift through, while vanilla, honeyed barley and citrus zest add warmth and lift. A final whisper of oak spice lingers with the maritime finish.
Palate
On the palate it opens with a maritime, lightly peated lift, smoke brushed with sea-salt and iodine. Citrus tartness and a touch of honeyed vanilla unfold into creamy malt and restrained oak. A warming spice coats the tongue, while the finish lingers with coastal peat, soft sweetness, and a mineral bite.
Finish
Long, cool maritime finish with subtle peat and sunlit citrus, dissolving into vanilla and toasted oak. A peppery, resinous tail lingers, kissed by saline notes and a final whisper of sweetness that invites the next sip.
