Tasting Notes
Nose
Coconut with spicy, aromatic oak, vanilla custard and baklava drenched in runny honey; apricot glaze, hot cross buns, crème brûlée, butterscotch, white chocolate truffles, sweet nutty nougat and cinnamon toast.
Palate
What a delivery, sweet, rich, bold and spicy with truckloads of Ex-Bourbon cask notes of coconut,toasted vanilla, butterscotch, cookies and cream ice cream, french toast, golden syrup, rum and raisin fudge, honey on toasted waffles.
Finish
Very long with sweet spices and toasted oak with more coconut, white chocolate, toasted marshmallows and an almost egg nog with rum like chewy finish to die for. Plenty to chew on here and a malt for those that want a knife and fork of a whisky instead of something light and wimpy.
