Opulent vanilla and toasted oak mingle with creamy toffee and coconut from fresh American ex-Bourbon casks. Pineapple and ripe citrus rise beside warm spice, almond, and a kiss of honey, forming a tropical, caramel-rich bouquet that promises depth and intensity at cask strength.

Kavalan was founded in Yilan County in 2005 by King Car Group and is widely regarded as Taiwan’s first whisky distillery. The name comes from the old name of Yilan and the indigenous Kavalan people. Its first bottling, Kavalan Classic, was released in 2008, and the Solist range followed in 2009.
