Using Portuguese ruby Port wine casks as the main flavour, Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish single malt whisky is first matured in specially selected American oak casks and then finished in port barriques. The ageing in barriques mellows the flavours and adds indefinable smoothness to the whisky. It is rich bodied with natural sweetness and complexity.

Deep amber with a warm copper glow and ruby-tinged edges.
Nose
A luminous bouquet of tropical fruits rises on the nose, gilded by honeyed sweetness, creamy vanilla, and coconut, with delicate wisps of candy floss. Sun-warmed, lush and inviting, it hints at velvet sweetness and a gentle caramel-amber depth.
Palate
Full-bodied and luxurious, a blanket of creamy vanilla and honey sweetness coats the palate. Rich notes of caramel, dried fruit and cocoa emerge, lifted by a gentle spice and velvety oak. The port influence adds smooth, elegant warmth, finishing long and refined.
Finish
Long, velvety finish carries port sweetness with warm vanilla and polished oak, steadfastly lingering as soft tropical fruit notes fade into a refined, candy-sweet finale.
