As with all the kavalan range this packs a punch and is like a greatest hits of Bourbon cask flavours and a lower abv version of the award winning "Solist" Bourbon cask release.
A complex and faultless single malt that will have the traditional whisky drinker crying into a glass of (Insert some generic Scottish Bourbon cask aged malt here) a blockbuster and rollercoaster ride of a whisky and if you do not know what a Manchester tart is you havent lived! (A pastry case with dark jam, set custard and coconut).

Tasting Notes
Nose
A luxurious bouquet of orange bitters, crème brûlée and honeycomb, with vanilla fudge and buttery toffee popcorn. Coconut threads through apricot jam and caramelised peaches, while a whisper of rum baba, butterscotch and sugared almonds adds warmth and sweetness, hinting at the dessert-bright, indulgent depth to follow.
Palate
Peaches and apricots in stock syrup, french toast, orange blossom honey, vanilla infused custard, rum and raisin fudge, manchester tarts, egg nog and nutmeg, buttery toffee, marzipan.
Finish
Hot butterscotch, vanilla ice cream, crunchie bars, charred and caramelised orchard fruits, egg custard with a dusting of icing sugar, oily/waxy orange, drying oak towards the long, long finish.
