A lovely old style Balvenie Founders Reserve in a cognac style bottle. Both bottle and box are in excellent condition, the bottle is even still wrapped in its original Balvenie branded tissue paper. This is the earlier non-aged statement version.

Radiant golden amber with warm coppery highlights, a honeyed depth that glows with satiny richness.
Nose
Silky honey and ripe pear lead the nose, mingling with vanilla, almond and a touch of creamy malt. Subtle sherry sweetness adds dried-fruit depth, while orange zest and gentle spice lift the bouquet, finishing with a polished, inviting warmth.
Palate
Silky and balanced, with honeyed sweetness and orchard-fruit brightness. Creamy vanilla glides over light toffee, while gentle oak spice adds subtle depth. The mid-palate is smooth and medium-bodied, finishing warm and lingering with refined fruit and oak echoes.
Finish
Long, luxurious, the finish carries honeyed sweetness and vanilla cream, with soft oak and spice. Dried fruit and a subtle sherry echo linger, fading to a velvety warmth.
