Colour
Deep amber with coppery warmth and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Sherry-rich and luxurious, this Balvenie greets the nose with dried fig and raisin, orange zest and honeyed malt. Toffee and dark chocolate deepen the sweetness, while vanilla and caramel drift in warm, creamy threads. Spices—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—spark the aroma, as polished oak adds leather, cedar and a whisper of tobacco. An elegant, vintage fruitiness lingers, inviting a slow, contemplative sip.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied on the palate, a lush sherried core of fig and raisin fruit, orange zest and toffee sweetness. Subtle oak, cinnamon spice, and nutty hints weave through a creamy texture, delivering a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with warm spice, rich dried fruit and cocoa. Sherry-cask sweetness lingers with orange zest, toasted oak and a whisper of nuttiness, fading into a creamy, resinous warmth.
